As a joint project of the Brandenburg Universities the EUK was included in the recently signed Higher University Agreement 2019-2023 of the federal State of Brandenburg. Following a successful evaluation of the first funding phase 2016-2018, the EUK will be funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture for another five years.
